Floating Wishes는 관객의 머무름과 움직임을 통해 활성화된다. 조형물 주위를 멤도는 관객의 머무름은 일종의 소원을 비는 행위로 작동한다.
움직이고 머무는 과정은 조형물 표면의 투명도와 연동된다. 이러한 변화는 사라지지 않고 누적되며 조형물 전체에 축적되는 시각적 구조를 만들어낸다.
이 작업은 머무름의 축적이 빚어내는 공간적 변형을 탐구한다. 관객은 각자의 동선을 따라 저마다 다른 공간 조형을 경험하게 된다. 이는 우리 모두가 각자의 염원을 드러내는 방식일 것이다.
Floating Wishes is activated by the dwelling and movement of its audience. Circling the sculpture operates as a form of wish-making.
The process of moving and lingering corresponds with the transparency of the sculpture surface. These changes do not disappear but accumulate, forming layered visual patterns across the sculpture. The changes expand from part to whole, ultimately leading the structure into full transparency.
This work explores spatial transformation shaped through the duration of dwelling, rather than immediate response. Each visitor's path generates a different spatial sculpting, and the sculpture is formed by their invisible traces of circling.
