Floating Wishes_0는 '빈다'는 행위에서 착안한 공감각적 실험이다. 기원(祈願)과 연관된 신체의 움직임을 시각과 청각으로 동시에 번역한다.
손의 움직임은 컴퓨터 비전 센서를 통해 인식되며, 그 좌표 데이터는 미니어처 조형물의 공간 개방성과 제너러티브 사운드로 전환된다.
Floating Wishes_0 is a synaesthetic experiment inspired by the act of "wishing," translating prayer-related bodily movement into both sight and sound. The coordinates of the hand are recognized through a computer-vision sensor, then converted into the spatial openness of a miniature sculpture and a layer of generative sound. Built around the concept of prayer, the sculpture and sound render the audience's movement into a wish, felt at once as sight and sound.
