Time Remapping

‘Time Remapping’ is an attempt to reconstruct a day based on the devices individuals use throughout the day. The types and usage times of these devices are believed to reflect specific individuals' lifestyle patterns and personalities.
I categorized the devices used by individuals in the morning, afternoon, and nighttime, visually distinguishing each category through color and patterns. Additionally, I structured the classification based on the size of circles representing time intervals. Subsequently, I harmoniously arranged this information in a step-by-step process. Colors were chosen to symbolize each category appropriately, and patterns were inspired by the flow of time.
Our experiences can be mapped and translated into data. These records not only serve practical purposes numerically but also can be aesthetically transformed into visually pleasing outcomes.
The final results, moving images, visualizes the shape of time interweaving within an individual's universe.

Recording device usage in a day
I asked my friends to write about their day, detailing the devices they used and the corresponding usage times. I then classified the devices they used throughout the day into various categories. Each category was visually enhanced with specific colors and patterns to create a heightened visual effect.
